Synthetic Resin alternative to coal tar based binders or phenolic resins for all kinds of basic refractory. It does not contain pitch. Carbonization behaviour is similar to pitch & avoids disadvantages observed with phenolic resins like poor storage stability, very fast hardening, poor workability of paste & emission of phenol, NH3 or formaldehyde.
